Our illustrious Old Students

 A large number of old students of M.M.R.H.S. are serving in various walks of life in India and abroad with good reputation in their fields of activity. The following are some of them.

  1. Sri. M. Sivasankar, I.A.S.

           He appeared for the SSLC exam in March 1978 and secured Second Rank . He is the first ‘rank holder’ from M.M.R.H.S.S. His glorious victory contributes a lot for the reputation of the school. He entered the Indian Administrative Service (in Kerala Cadre). After serving in various capacities as District Collector, Director of Public Instruction etc, he is now working as the Director of Tourism in Kerala.

  1. Smt. C. Sreedevi

            She is the first student admitted to this School. Now she is working as Lecturer in College of Engineering, Trivandrum.

  1. Smt R.Lekshmi.

            She got First rank in the S.S.L.C. Examination of 1989. Thus she brought First rank to M.M.R.H.S. for the first time. She is now working as Gynaecologist in Somayya Medical College, Mumbai.

  1. Shri M P Manoj

            He got First rank in March 1994 examination. He is now working as Professor in U.S.A. after obtaining PhD from Prinston University.

  1. Sri. M. Jayachandran

            He secured creditable achievements in the School State Youth Festival. He is now a renowned Play back Singer as well as a Music Director.

  1. Sri. Krishnakumar

            He received several achievements in the school Youth Festivals in music(Son of Prof Kalyanasundaram and Smt. Sarada Kalyanasundarn). He studied music initially from his mother and later under Sri Neyyattinkara Mohanachandran and Dr Balamurali Krishna. He is now a well known Musician.

  1. Dr Biju Prabhakar, I.A.S

            He entered State service and is now holding senior position under the Govt. of Kerala.

  1. Sri S.S Venugopal

            A Rankholder of S.S.L.C. Examination for March 1984. Sri Venugopal completed his B.Tech and is now serving in I .T Field in the U.S.A.

  1. Shri B. Prakash

He is now working as a Senior Scientist in the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum.

  1. Sri R. Vijayanath

            A former illustrious student of M.M.R.H.S.  He is now working as a Senior Petroleum Consultant in the Engineer India Ltd.

  1. Dr Jothy Dev Kesava Dev

            He is working in the Medical field as a reputed Diabatologist.

  1. Shri Ravi. S. Gopan

            He passed the SSLC Examination in March 1980. He is working as a Senior Software Engineer in an MNC in U.K.

  1. Dr V.K Jayakrishanan

He is working in the United Kingdom in the medical field as a reputed Doctor.

  1. Sri P. Anantha Padmanabhan

            He is the son of late (Sri.) P. Padmarajan, famous Film Director and screen play writer. P. Anantha Padmanabhan is also now in the film world as Producer and actor.

  1. Dr Rema

            Dr. Rema (wife of Sri. Jagadeesh, film actor) our former student is serving as senior doctor in the Forensic Department,Govt. of Kerala

  1. Dr S Parameswaran(Son of Prof. Rugmini Antherjanam and Prof. E.P. Sanathana Bhattathiri.)

            Dr S. Parameswaran Passed MBBS, MD and DM (Neurosurgery) from Sree Chithra Thirunal Institute for Medical Science & Technology, Trivandrum. He took his F.R.C.S. degree from U.K. He is now serving as a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery in a reputed hospital in U.K..

  1. Shri Rajmohan

            After his School days in M.M.R.H.S., he passed B. Tech and M.B.A. Now he is a Senior Manager in INFOSYS Ltd. and working in the U.S.A.

            Further, Cinema Serial Artist Smt. Kukkoo Paramesharam, Film Director Sri Biju Viswanath, noted Cine Critic and journalist Sri Sudheer Parameswaran, Shri Alex (musician) are also the old students of M.M.R.H.S.S.

Our Inspiration

Mannathu Padmanabhan (1878-1970) was a social reformer and a freedom fighter from the State of Kerala, India. He is recognized as the founder of the organization called the Nair Service Society and considered as a visionary reformer. He was born on January 2, 1878 near Changanassery, in North Travancore. He started his career as a teacher in 1893 and then changed his profession and took up legal practice from 1905 onwards. He was honored with the title ‘Bharata Kesari’ from the President of India. He also received Padma Bhushan in 1966. He died on February 25, 1970.
