Welcome to MMRHSS

It was the ardent desire of Bharath Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan, the renowned Social Reformer of Kerala and founder of so many schools and Colleges, to have a model residential school also under the Nair Service Society (N.S.S.). By the end of Nineteen Sixties, the mood of the urban parents of Kerala, especially those of Trivandrum, was to have the education of their children in English medium schools. It was in this background, ie, to fulfill the desire of the Samudayacharya and to satisfy the educational needs of the public of Trivandrum that the N.S.S. leadership decided to start an unaided English Medium Residential High School with all modern facilities at Neeramankara near the N.S.S. Women’s College. Since this was the first educational institution established by the N.S.S. after the demise of Samudayacharya Bharath Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan in February 1970, the School was named MANNAM MEMORIAL RESIDENTIAL HIGH SCHOOL (M.M.R.H.S.).
