Medium of Instruction / Syllabus / Courses Offered:
The School is a Co-educational Unaided English Medium School recognized by the Govt of Kerala. Kerala State Syllabus is followed. Students of Std X, XI and XII are presented for public examinations conducted by the Govt of Kerala. The following Science Courses are offered for Higher Secondary Classes.
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology. One batch
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer Science. One batch
Up to Std X First Language Part A is Malayalam or Sanskrit. From Std. V First Language Part B is Malayalam and it is Compulsory. For Higher Secondary Malayalam, Hindi or Sanskrit is offered as Second Language.
Mannathu Padmanabhan (1878-1970) was a social reformer and a freedom fighter from the State of Kerala, India. He is recognized as the founder of the organization called the Nair Service Society and considered as a visionary reformer. He was born on January 2, 1878 near Changanassery, in North Travancore. He started his career as a teacher in 1893 and then changed his profession and took up legal practice from 1905 onwards. He was honored with the title ‘Bharata Kesari’ from the President of India. He also received Padma Bhushan in 1966. He died on February 25, 1970.
